What high school students are saying about the Youth Leadership Program:

"It was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I will do it again and again."
Ryan Baird

"R.O.T.C has helped me grow my faith and  showed my how to help others younger and older than me grow their faith and love for helping others less fortune than ourselves."
Amy Dougan
Round Rock, Texas

"Being a youth leader means that you are there to help the junior high students accomplish something that they might have thought impossible.  It makes me feel great because I love showing them that if you have the right attitude, anything is possible."
Bethany Thibodeau
Round Rock, Texas

One thing unique to ROTC is the Youth Leadership Program.  This program allows dedicated high school students the opportunity to take on a higher level of responsibility before, during and after camp.

The high school students must fill out an application, complete an interview and be recommended by their youth leader.  After acceptance into the program, the youth leaders begin helping our leadership team organize and plan the camps.  During camp, the youth leaders have a variety of jobs including work team assistant, program's team, kitchen assistant, safety assistant and worship team.  The youth leaders are given countless opportunities to test and improve their leadership skills by working with our junior high youth through the week.

Applications are due January 31, 2009.  Interviews will be held during the month of February and the team will be selected by March 1st.

***Note:  Youth leaders are picked according to their leadership abilities and availability to attend specific camps.  If you apply for a specific camp, you will be expected to attend that camp.
