Reaching Others Through Christ offers an intense Christian mission trip experience to junior high youth that engages them to use their hands, minds and hearts to deepen their relationship with Christ.
ROTC provides opportunities for youth to use their hands through
a variety of community service projects on Tuesday of camp and
building wheelchair ramps on Wednesday through Friday of camp.
Each night, the camp enjoys a time of fellowship through fun
activities in the church and community and concludes the night with
a powerfully dynamic worship service.
Youth will use their minds as they work together as a work team
to accomplish the projects assigned to them. In 2007, the
youth were able to build a total of 19 ramps for people in need.
The ramps ranged from 3 feet to 46 feet.
ROTC strives to show participants that there are
endless ways we can worship God. Each day at camp starts with
a morning devotional lead by one of our youth leaders. During
lunch, participants invite their clients to join them for a sack
lunch and devotional. A dynamic worship service ends each
night. The nightly services are not your "normal" worship
services. They allow participants to step out of the box and
experience worship.
